Welcome to The Ties That Bind Blog!

This is a place where this mom and psychologist can share both personal and professional thoughts, ideas and experiences as a way to help you on your parenting journey. As a therapist, I often find that I can relate to the distinctive stories I hear from a profoundly personal place, whether they come from the mouths of adolescents or from their mamas.

Sometimes even within the same week, I hear stories from multiple unique individuals that share a common thread and make me think about the ways in which even seemingly disparate people are connected. Through this blog, I hope to take the large and small moments I hear and the large and small moments I live and link them with your moments; to share and connect the ties that bind.
